Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission is an anonymous PDF document.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. (Not applicable to FASL proceedings.)
- The text adheres to the stylistic, formatting and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. (Formatting requirements not applicable to FASL proceedings.)
- The submission is not longer than 30 pages of the format specified above (single-spaced, 12-point font ...). (Not applicable to FASL proceedings.)
- I am aware that in order to publish an article in JSL, SLS membership in the calendar year of acceptance is required of all authors, and that in case the manuscript is accepted for publication all authors will have to complete any outstanding payment for membership in SLS in the current calendar year before the manuscript is submitted for production. For any further questions regarding membership please contact us. (Not applicable to FASL proceedings.)
FASL proceedings 2019
This section was created for the publication of FASL 2019 proceedings. Papers were already reviewed outside of OJS and will enter directly into production stage once they are submitted.
FASL proceedings 2020
These are the FASL 29 proceedings. Note that some of the guidelines and requirements, most notably the formatting requirements, are different for FASL proceedings as they are for other JSL submissions; in spite of this, please check off also the boxes identified in the list below as "not applicable to FASL proceedings".
FASL proceedings 2021
These are the FASL 30 proceedings. Please submit only the PDF version of your paper as your first submission. We will ask for all relevant LaTeX files for your final submission. Note that some of the guidelines and requirements, most notably the formatting requirements, are different for FASL proceedings as they are for other JSL submissions; in spite of this, please check off also the boxes identified in the list below as "not applicable to FASL proceedings".
FASL 31 proceedings 2022
These are the FASL 31 proceedings. Please submit only the PDF version of your paper as your first submission. We will ask for all relevant LaTeX files for your final submission.
