Abstract

The task of reviewing Crnogorski jezik i nacionalizam (Montenegrin language and nationalism) is one that elicits a feeling of curiosity because it is impossible to know what lies ahead, especially when reviewing a book about one’s native language with the word “nationalism” next to it. This recently published book will surely attract the attention of linguists, particularly in the former Yugoslavia, since it is a compilation of edited articles by Rajka Glušica, a linguist and professor at the University of Montenegro in Nikšić.
